Founded in 1915, Troop 6 is the oldest troop in the Great Smoky Mountain Council.
We meet each Tuesday night from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in the Scout Room at Second Presbyterian Church in Knoxville Tennessee.
If you are up for an adventure come visit us one Tuesday Night
Second Presbyterian Church has been the charter organization for Troop 6 for 99 of our 106 years. Second Presbyterian Church provides a meeting place, selects a charter representative, a scoutmaster, appoints a troop committee, and approves all adult leaders.
Without the continued support of Second Presbyterian Church Troop 6 would not have survived for over 100 years.
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
On my honor I will do my best. To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.
